Throughout my Christian walk, I have had numerous questions that most Christians probably have or have had at one point or another in their own spiritual journey. Questions like:
“Why do bad thing happen to Christians?”
– I thought everything was going to be good once I accepted Jesus Christ.
“What is the Holy Trinity?” or “Who is Holy Trinity?”
– I know that the Holy Trinity is God in three (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) but are they a what or a who?
“What’s the difference between Catholics, Protestants, Baptist, Presbyterian, etc.?”
– I have often heard people respond with “I’m Catholic” when asked “Are you a Christian?” So, since they did not answer “Yes”, I assumed that they were not. Even though I know that we are all Christians, it still perplexes me that many people from different denominations still don’t know that, though we may be different in some ways, we are all Christians, nevertheless.
Though the internet and the use of search engines makes finding information a lot easier, the information found can be confusing due to false doctrines and competing beliefs. You may spend a great deal of time doing research, but if you are not familiar with what’s in the Bible, you can be easily misled.
In an effort to provide clarity and information that is Biblically sound, I have answered some frequently asked questions in my second book, Christianity 102 Growing in Your Faith.
